Let's test you skill on bowmodels/makers ;)
First one to be opened is the brown tube.
Hint: It's a European maker

This one's fairly unknown yin the US I think
It's a Falco Storm. 54" 33@28, Bocote and black glass. Also has the recurve grip option.
If I remember correctly bows from Falco have won a lot of tournaments in the EU, which at their modest price is good.
Now for the next one^^
Beautiful wood, I love Bocote.
Well, this one is to easy for you, so no guessing needed!

That's right, it's a Centaur! With a really nice Cocobolo riser and dark Myrtle limbs.
I also opted for the XTL lam.
The bow is 58" and 40@28.

I really have to hand it to Jim Neaves, he sure builds a nice stick! And customer service is over the top.
He told me a couple of weeks ago that the bow had some blems on the upper and lower belly and he would build me a new one if I wanted.
After seeing some pics, I decided to go for the bow, as they didn't seem that big.
He gave me a discount and sent extra strings and was a real craftsman to deal with! He sure stands by his product!
Anyway, gonna shoot them tonight, and I'll post an update later!
In the mean time..

Hey Svein, I really like the Falco, he did a great job merging the bacote and the glass. Very sharp looking! How do you like that textured finish on the Centaur? Looking forward to seeing your reviews. Good shooting!

Gonna sell the Harley, and start buying more bows, oh wait I just ordered my last one. Well maybe not. HMMMM? 7C
Congrats on two beautyful bows Svein!
Well, if you are overwhelmed with them you can send one to me for a while!(LOL) Nice bows, I have also read about the Falco being a winner across the pond! Shawn
Really nice bows. The myrtle on your Centaur looked like black glass at first, like it dark like that!

Deciding will be easy. I currently shoot a 25# bow dua to a mystery injury in my arm that leaves Docs and MR people puzzled..
The plan is to use the Falco (33#) as a gateway bow between the 25# BearPaw and the Centaur (40#). I also have a 49# Toelke but that's way in the future!
Update on the shooting : I tried both new bows and I gotta hand it to the Centaur, what a fantastic creation that is!
Even draw, smooth and fast as pig aware of Terry Green hiding in the bushes! I haven't got to fine tuning it yet, but I already know it's gonna be super sweet :)
As for the Falco, the speed of the bow surprised me. The draw was also very relaxed and smooth, and though it should be able to draw to 29" I could feel it started to gain much more after 25" than before. (but not "halt")
But, I shoot 27 so It's no problem for me^^ One thing I did not expect though was vibrations. Especially on such a light bow.. I am fairly certain this can be tweaked away with some silencers, nock-point and brace height tuning.
But that won't be 'till Monday.
Thanks for all the kind words, It has really been a lovely day!
I would say a lovely day in the least. Congrats both bows are beautiful.
