I enjoyed seeing the pictures of Mr. Mudds "lucky" shot which was taken at 12 yds. I also saw last night a program called "The Shot" which was mostly gun shooters but they did have Byron Ferguson take a couple great shots. My question is does anyone know at what distance he does his shooting? It looked kinda close but hard to tell. I'm not asking to downplay his shooting. I admire the man and am impressed whenever I see him shoot. I'm just curious.
Byron shoots at a lot of different ranges depending on the shot. the"ring" shot was done at about 20 feet or so. The distances on some of the shots he made were reported. Most were 10-15 yards. The balloon shot he did in one of the opening cuts was in the 80-100 yard range.
Thanks. I wasn't able to watch the whole show. I only saw the ring and the robin hood shots.
Thanks again
Watching Byron in person the shots are very close, maybe 5-10 yards, for the thrown objects.
At 5 yards, has the arrow even completely stabilized? Makes it that much tougher to hit an aspirin if the arrow is still wiggling. He's a great shot regardless of the ranges. I also like that he's packing some weight on his draw, 70lbs correct?

He mentions that in a video, considers it more of a challenge when it's in paradox, I guess, says it's a little harder and is why he misses sometimes.
Today I plan to see if I can get "lucky again!...lol
I won't be holding my breath for it.
I have another shot that I'm planning to try but I'll wait until I can get it together before letting the cat out of the bag.
God bless,Mudd

How about some video? :bigsmyl:
practice does not make perfect... "PERFECT practice makes perfect".
I sure hope this works.
Everything is the same as yesterday, same bow, same arrows, same target, same distance.
Not quite as good as my shooting yesterday but it'll do.
You be the judge.
