There's one just over the border for NH. It's called the Hunter's Rendezvous or something like that.

Good luck with this search. I've looked around but the bow shops I could check out cater to the compound shooters. Can't blame them though. It's all about the $$$. Bass Pro Shop in Foxboro has some on the rack but the staff there can't answer to many tech. questions. You can, however, try them out.

If you do find a good shop let us know. I would throw some business their way.

Forget the big box stores like Basspro Shops or Cabelas; what few recurves and longbows they have are all pretty much low end imports.  The frequent comment "shoot as many bows as you can" simply isn't possible in New England.  You have to make a major traditional gathering with lots of vendors; PA (ETAR at Denton Hill) being the closest I know of.

I would disagree with Swamp Yankee a bit as Bass Pro and Cabelas do carry Bear and Martins and actually the Samick line of bows are pretty good performers. While you may not find a true custom bow they do have some nice shooting bows. Shawn

Yup, Sheldon in Pepperell has a good amount of new and used stickbows. You can shoot them, he also has anything every invented for black powder.
