My dad bought me my 1st trad bow in I think 1990,a Howatt hunter,62in 45@ 28.I haven"t shot it in years.I bought a widow in 1995,and have used it since.Anyway I put a new string on it yesterday and rediscovered it.I fell asleep last night dreaming of hunting with it,best sleep I"ve had in a long time.Shot a racoon and woke up late for work.It was worth it .Burt
My first bow, a 52" red wing hunter, from whiffin archery Milwaukee,Wis. . broke my heart when the top limb just cracked in half while drawing it back. had it for 20 years.
Still use my oldest bow 35+- years AMF red wing hunter.but mines a 58 inch. second oldest is my Howatt bandito two years younger than the wing. Both are still great shooters. bsv and seven crows thats realy cool.
Still shoot in hunt with my Pearson hunter. It was my first bow that I got brand new in 1967.
1970 45lb recurve Fred Bear Kodiak Special, still got, Xmas present from parents.
very cool that I"m not alone.
