Most of you know I am a bowaholic, and I love Brackenbury bows. Well I got a Non-Typical in trade but it was too light in weight for me and I decided I did not want to wait 2 years for Bill to build me a new set of limbs so I offered it for trade, wanted a Schafer but this was offered and I could not pass it up.
Brackenbury Quest
62",55#@28" so will be about 58# at my 29" draw. Zircote/bacote riser, bacote vaneers on the limbs and I believe a bamboo core. It will fit right in with my other two Quests. So now I have three recurves, all Brack Quests and one longbow, my new Cari-Bow Silver Fox.
Like I said before, am done now.

Now, be nice fellas,LOL. I know, I know, I have said it before, but yes, I am done, got all the bows I need and know that for me The Quest is the one that fits me and my style the best and with weights of 55,59, and 64#@28" I have what I need. Always got to have a longbow on the rack, and with my Silver Fox with 51# and 55# limbs I am set in that regard. I have tried almost every bow out there and am happy at were I have arrived. Thanks for the comments.

I am like you Danny in that I love my recurves (Blacktails) but have to have a longbow on the rack (Griffin R/D). Love shooting them all.

Well, she is here and more beautiful than the pictures. I am stoked! According to Bill, she was built in 2003 but she sure looks new, not a scratch on her.

I knew that bow had to have a few years on it because Bill hasn't been able to get zircote of that quality for a long time. I can't tell any difference in the way my Brackenbury from 1984 shoots today, so it is little wonder that your Quest looks and shoots like a new bow. You know I love my Bracks, and the Quests are among my favorites. I have 7 Quests, with 3 of them having been previously owned by the Rowan twins. Congratulations on that gorgeous bow!
