Well, got myself my first robinhood w/ a trad bow today.
I just fletched some arrows up this morning and went out to check there flight. I had to cut them down a couple times until i liked them. Then i screwed on some broadheads and went out to practice. I shot 20 some arrows and then this. About 18yds and sitting down on a stool. Broadhead split it straight down the middle! Pretty cool, but now im out $40.
I have pics but dont know how to post them. If someone will post them for me i can email them to ya.
Hey, Its Only Money! Congrats on the R'Hood!!

Good shooting Stephen!
I wouldn't use a single spot target next time...lol
God bless,Mudd
PS: Question? If you knew it was going to happen? would you shoot that second arrow next time?
That should get hung on your bow rack or something. PERFECT SPLIT!!! congrats.
What I think is really cool is how you separated the cock feather from the hen feathers... :notworthy:
I know you meant to do that.
oh thats cool...but that sucks
Thanks for posting the pics guy's. I thought it was pretty cool and what was really cool is that first arrow actually hit the brown spot i was aiming at and the second one would have.lol
Any hog hunters out there want to comment on shot placement? From what ive read its right above the elbow.
Looks like money well spent to me! Great shot.
That's a real Robin right there! Great shot :)
:archer: :archer2:
excellent!! :clapper: :jumper: :jumper: :jumper:

Let's just say the blood trail would be a short one if that had been a real pig. As said above that is one of the coolest RH's I have ever seen. I might have to hang that in my man-cave if it were mine.

Lessons learned....only one BH at a time, or you'll get high $$ wall hangers every time. They are nice to see and have. Congrats!
sad to see a good arrow destroyed. :( ..... good shooting. :)
congrats on the robin hood.it is good and bad.good that your shooting is great, bad that it costs so much.keep up the good shooting, steve

Just curious. What broadhead were you shooting?

Great shooting! I guess you can say that pig now has a "split" personality! :biglaugh:
