A while back, I picked up a ugly and field battered Big East TD with a selway leather quiver for a song at the swap meet at the BBTC. It wasn't anything much to look at and I nicknamed her "Ugly Betty", but she sure can shoot a arrow. I put some of those spandex camo limb cover on her and always considered getting her camo dipped. Then, David (YORNOC) came along offering snake skinning service and I said "hmmmmmm maybe skin her out?"
Well, one thing lead to another and David did a outstanding job not only skinning the limbs but he dressed up the weathered/worn quiver. I can highly recommend David's work! Very fair and a great guy to work with!
Can't call her ugly betty any longer....Let me introduce............Medusa!

:scared:  Wow very nice! Enjoy her! Those Big Easts are fine shooters. Junior made a great bow.
Wow David did a wonderful job!
wonderful addition to her.
That is nice,good job.
Thats a nice job and bow :)
Very cool and original. Great dress up for Betty.
Hard to believe that was ugly Betty at one time-touch of a masters hand.
Nice!

Very cool!
Nice looking! Are you gonna use Medusa to turn animals into stones?
Very Nice

If she can just get these darn jumpy Maryland deer to stand still for a second or two, I'll take care of the rest...
JR. made a nice bow... several of us worked hard with him to get him some biz sense, but to no avail.
I did find my personal bows (2) of them from him were actually 2.5 # heavier than marked.
Alas, they shot harder and faster than some their "weight". Still a smooth, fast bow.
looks great. i would love to get snake skins on my 66" hybrid. just threw soom limb stations on it and it looks great to me. just doesnt cover the whole bow like i want. after my new custom comes i want to get that bow done
Awesome great looking bow and quiver. Great job, she sure looks good. Thanks for the pics.
Nice work by David! Love it!
Great looking bow and the quiver is way too cool!!
Sweeeet!!!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing JL.
God bless,Mudd
The nicest medusa I've seen!!!
LOL Medusa is what I call my plain Owen Jeffery Royal Hunter......it had clear glass over red oak with laminated riser but was too shiny hunting....so covered with snake skins back in early 90s and never looked back.
Nice!
Wow Jerry, she looks good now. Its hard to beleave its the same bow. I hope you bring it to denton. I would like to see it.
You got it Ron. I put one of those skinny strings on her and now she is freakishly fast. I would say she rivals the fastest bow I have ever owned, a Border TD.
Yea, JR did build one high performance bow. Too bad he couldn't keep it together but on the bright side, I believe that whole fiasco was a factor that brought on Tradgang. Terry was instrumental in helping me get my bow from JR, one of the last bows to come out of his shop. The guy was very talented at building bows but a terrible business man.
That's awesome!
Nice work! I sure would like to see the "before" pics.
Bisch
very nice job and I like her name

Ya know, I thought about that also but I really don't have any "before" pic's. David was under the impression that someone tried a refinish job on the limbs but the finish didn't take and was chipping off, hence the spandex limb covers. It's just one of those bows that shoots really well for me. Glad to get her some natural camo!
