I use a shorty plunger on my ilf rig and everytime the arrow slides by it squeeks. Does this with carbon arrows and aluminum. What can I plut on the tip to reduce the noise.
Cut a small piece of fleece or felt and super glue it to the tip of the plunger. That should keep her silent!
Yep. That will work. Or a small piece of Dr. Scholls or similar moleskin product, which comes with an adhesive back. Just cut a piece to fit and stick it on.
A tiny piece of duck tape. It works great and won't affect your tuning.
Here's the only decent pic I have of how I do mine. It's just a piece of Dr. Scholl's moleskin over the rest and button. I used a dark marker to darken it up some....it's really not necessary to darken it.

I took mine off the bow,and ruffed it up
with bit of light grit sandpaper on the
contact surface, and made a slight bevel
around the edge.
Mine gets covered with TP all the time when I dip it in the Toilet :readit:
Peter,
I was thinking of maybe the UHMW slick tape for kitchen drawers may help. I can leave some at CB Archery tomorrow morning for you to try out. The tape is self glued on one side. You can cut it to fit your pluger.
