Was thinking of shooting carbons but dont want to take out a loan to buy them. CX Predators at lancaster are $49.00 a dozen[not bad] Any other "sleeper" cheap carbons out there. I want a 500 spine in at least 8 gpi. Thanks!
Contact Big Jim on here. He is a sponsor, and sells what you need at a price you can afford. PM him, and tell him what you are looking for.
Big Jim's the man!
Look at Beman ICS Bowhunters. I have gone the "blemished" shaft route, and was happy, however, you can find the Beman Bowhunters for $45/dozen shafts on the web "unblemished". Plus I like the all black color.

Those CX Rebels at Wally World are purty gud.
Big Jim here too. I've been getting the blems and love em.
Mike
Another vote for the Beman Bowhunters.Have my son shooting them and they're a good shaft for the money, pretty durable too.
Beman bowhunters as well, but I really like the CE Heritage, you may pay more up front but if they break often you are not really saving anything. The Heritage take a beating and the Bemans don't and the bemans in .500 are only 7.3 gpi. Shawn
I have been using the Carbon Express Predator II shafts from Braveheart archery and they are very good so far. Tims a sponsor here and gives great service. Bob
I really like the GT Trad blems from Big Jim, I have bought 3 dozen in the last year or so. I have been playing around with some of the CE Predator II arrows also. Excellent arrow for the money.
what is thr gpi on the beman ICS shafts in a 500 spine?
He's out of the blems.
I have been using them and the CX Terminator hunters which are extinct. I don't think you can go wrong with the CX line.
Must say Shawn nailed it.The ICS B/H aint durable at all compared to other makes.I hate Jims out of blems as I ordered 2 dozen 2 weeks ago.The B/H's fly great from my curve.
I wish I could help you on blems, but only have the 5575's in camo and nuge. Am out of all other blems. I do cary the non blems and CX heritage and Cx predator II's.
I am currently placing an order for a bunch of Beman shafts and will have them on hand soon and from here on.
There are lots of good choices for inexpensive carbons. The Blems are the cheapest and toughest of the inexpensive shafts.
The CX predator II's are also nice shafts, but like the ICS Bowhunter's are not near as durable.
Your welcome to call if you have any questions.
thanks, bigjim
My experience is that the GT are not as tough as the Beman's. But the CX most durable of all.
I am shooting the Beman 400's Bowhunters with either 275 on the front or 300 depenping on which bow I am shooting. Total arrow weight is either 565 or 585gr.
For durability with any carbon I am a BIG fan of the aluminum arrow footings. I orginally bought some from 3rivers, however now I make my own out of a 2114 shaft.
I have purposely have shot into big rocks. No arrow damage, although I have broken/lost a few nocks this way.

Big Jim,
What the chance of you adding the GT Expedition line to your inventory? The GT Expedition 7595 is one tough shaft and pretty economical to boot. I need a place I can do one stop shop and say on the shipping fee's from buying from separate dealer.
Another vote for Big Jims blems.
Jeff
yeah , if he had some 35/55's I d jump on them---hint,hint BigJim.....
Guys- I'm a full line dealor for Gold Tip, Carbon Express, and Easton. If I don't stock it, I can have it in just a few days and don't mind ordering. The problem with stocking everything is after 30 days it must be paid for. Not a problem with the stuff that moves quick, but arrow margins are small and it can get real expensive having multiple models and then each has several spines, yadayadayada. We are growing though and every few months I'm adding something and not just weight around my beer belly. If I could just get my wifes dryer to stop shrinking my clothes (I know, old joke)
Bigjim
GT Blems,I have been useing them for years,I have several dozen that I bought for around $45 a dz.They are tough, they are blems but most of the time I cannot find any flaws.
Cheap, and quality, don't noamally go together in the same venue.
In my experience, you get what you pay for.
Blems are blems for a reason.
I would look around, check whith the folks here, and try to loacte a few arrows of each brand you are concidering. Try them, and make a choice from there, an extra
$10/dzn, is much cheaper than buying several dzn of different mfgrs, only to have results that doesnt't fit your needs.
Quality is exactly that.
Good luck.
I'm in the process of getting an order ready for ya Big Jim. Gonna get some CE Heritage 75s, but wanted to try some GT Trads as well. I was hoping that you might have some GT Trad Blems in 1535. I take it you don't have any right now. Will you be getting more in any time soon. Thanks.
Big Jim has the best price around on CX Heritage, their also one of the best shafts on the market regardless of price..so thats my vote.
