I am a new member and just wanted to say hi. I have recently started with traditional equipment. I am shooting a 1953 50# bear grizzly. A friend of mine introduced me to this site and I love it. There is a ton of information here. I will need all the help I can get. I am enjoying all of the info and I hope that one day I to will be able to help a newbie out just as this place is helping me.

Welcome to the site. And also, just a FYI, you are not shooting a 1953 Bear Griz. That 1953 is a patent date.

There's my man!  Been waitin for ya.

Just so everyone knows, the name is very fitting.  He's been known to empty a quiver in the middle of nowhere and call his friends  to help drag  out the results.  I haven't been on the other end of this yet, but if I ever am, I hope you start carrying less arrows.
