Is it unusual to have a nock height of 5\\8 or higher to acheive better arrow flight? 60" recurve, 50# @ 28", 31" draw, flipper rest.
45\\60 carbon express arrows. 135gr. point
thanks for any input, BigJohn
No! thats about my nocking point also.
Thats where I set the nock height on my A&H ACS,thats where it shoots best at for me.Most of my others bows usally are around 1/2".But my A&H liked 5/8" better and I shoot split finger.
Same here as well. It's whatever works for you.
I say as long as it's shooting good then you have it right.
Both of my go to bows have 9/16" nock height.
My nocking point height is 5/8" for both of my recurves.
I've got three of them at that height. One 1/8" higher than that.
Thanks guys I thought I might be getting too high. :campfire:
Mine's 3/4".
Not too high at all
5/8 on all my bows. Seem's to be a good starting point.
