Wow.

What did you back it with?  I'm guessing you backed it with it being a short bow with a long draw.

Don't think I've seen anyone make a red oak board bow that short before.

Excellent job.

WOW! You must be an expert at tillering if you can draw a 58" selfbow to 29"! Congrats on a great looking bow.

Great looking bow, seeing yours makes me want to finish the one I had started prior to starting a bunch of stave bows, I really like the handle overlays, looks nice.

wow, I would not have thought that possible, but that's what's really neat about this bow building game. Lots of "rules" get broken and turn into nice bows.

Good job!

Beatyful bow, great tiller...  thanx for sharing. I love the natural birch on black combo.
So , is it backed? How much set? How wide?
Thank you again,
Aram

thanks guys i like the black and birch combo to the black makes the birch and the moose antler tips jump right at ya. the bow took a 1 1/2 of set after allmost a month of shooting. I wanted to make shure she was going to hold together before I posted. I was shooting her for a wile unbacked but I liked her so much I backed her just in case with some drywall tape 4 layers thats why I painted it. I wanted some snake skin but I couldnt get any the bow is 1 3/4 at the fades and tapers from the fades to 1/2 tips. glad you all like it

here is a better pic of the handle and you can see the taper better
