Went out stump shooting and scouting for a certain spring tag a real good friend has this year. And look at what I found!! Goes to show a blind squirell indeed finds a nut every once in a while. Hope this is a good sign for the draw in a couple months :)

Nice Shed Ryan!!
You didn't find that across the border in CO either....no big bulls here :saywhat:
Congrats on the nice find! I found a super nice 6 point myself just this morning while at work.(being a year round coyote hunter has a few benefits!)

I think the antler I found was from one of these bulls. It was right near where I took this pic several days ago. They are just starting to shed here, and I have seen them with both into the middle of April.
I'll trade my snow for your green grass! :D
Steadman, exactly which part of Utah should we stay away from? :biglaugh:
Ryan,
Great shed!
Thanks again pardner, sent you an e-mail.
Where's the pics Tracy? The green is at my house, there was snow up where this was, just not as much as you guys. Matt all the big bulls are gone, I just hope this one crosses the road if I draw this year.
GREAT FIND,,,NICE
I betcha if he has brow tines like that again this year he'll be getting a Karch Woodsman right thru the boiler room.
Probably not my area
Nice find you are doing better than I am. Nothing over here yet.
Nice!
That looks fake to me. Better send it here for further inspection. Lol!
Nice find!
Look at all those bow tips!!!
Nice find there Ryan.
Come on draw! I know you don't have any BIG bulls left there in Utah Steadman....but I'll take one of those small ones if given the chance.

I'm thinkin' knife handles.
That's a beauty there! Hope you find his next years shed still attached to his warm body :saywhat:
Dam it's tough to be an elk hunter in CT,I never find sheds like that when I'm out stumpin.
Yea, no bow tips or knife handles from this one. Although it's thick enough for great knife handles. It's just the start of the shedding, so mabey if find some more :) FYI, this is my first elk find.
I hope I draw first Mike, then your senerio would be perfect!
Thats a nice shed, would love to have that elk in my bow sight.
Thats a good one Ryan!
Great find Ryan! Congratulations
That can't be from Idaho... I was led to beleive the wolves ate all the elk in Idaho! Great find! Steve
That's a *nice* one Ryan!
Can you find the match?
Shoot straight, Shinken
You could see that from a mile away...

Funny thing is, they are all left sides. Looks like I'm goin back up to find some right sides :)
Here's a comparison pic. The front one is the one I found last week. A lot for mass and a lot longer main beams.

David snow line is lower than it was. But warm weather this week. Snow line should go up, but so will the rivers :scared:
Nice, make a little cash for the coming season, more arrows or ect.
VOICE OF EXPERIENCE -- nothin' like slippin' in a spring-thawed run-off with a load of horn strapped to your back Ryan....
Enjoy the harvest!

Great work Ryan. Seems the elk in your country only loose one side or maybe they are unicorn elk ha ha.
Great finds looks like you need tracy to put you together a lamp out of those.
