Title: stallion or stallion classic
Post by: Uncle Buck on March 22, 2011, 06:17:00 AM
I have decided I need to get a Quinn Stallion. My dilema is do I get the standard model or spend a few bucks more for the classic with clear glass over bubinga. Is there any difference in performance?

I doubt there is any diferance in performance, but can't say for sure. I have a classic and like the looks, but often wish I had the all black bow. I would just go with which ever one you like the looks of more.

I've got both and don't notice any difference in performance.  You can't go wrong either way, great bows!

I have both, more thanoneof each, but my go to huntersare my metal handle, black glass, stallions. David Quinn always told me that in his testing, blk glass limbs were slightly better performers, faster and tougher, less problems. I have never hadany problems period out Of any Quinn product. Holler backif youneed anyhelp tuning when you get your bow.

on a side note...are the stallions still being made, since the Quinns passing? they are great bows and would love to own one!

I have two Stallions and they shoot great.  You won't regret getting one...or two.

I would get the standard Stallion. Easy to set-up for bowfishing if you decide to go that route. Good performers, great value. Good luck.
