Title: ITBA
Post by: H A Higgins on March 21, 2011, 08:32:00 PM
Finally made it down to the Indiana Traditional Bowhunters Association (ITBA) 3-D shoot this past Saturday.
Myself and my friend Ivan met up with fellow IBA (Yes, IBA, not to be confused with ITBA) member Roger.
ITBA member Tim was kind enough to shoot a round with us.  His grandson Jackson was a hoot to shoot with.  Some trees were stuck and occasionally some foam was pierced.
Was nice to run into some fellow IBA members too.  I saw some Tradgang stickers on vehicles in the parking area.
The targets were all nice, and the settings were very appropriate for hunting scenes.  The overall layout was very nice.  I hope I find the time to head back down again, soon.

Here's Ivan drawing his brand new Tanjavur recurve:   (http://i1212.photobucket.com/albums/cc446/dizzy_higg/DSCN3503.jpg)

Roger's in the back drawing his Timberhawk recurve while Jackson gets warmed up:   (http://i1212.photobucket.com/albums/cc446/dizzy_higg/DSCN3504.jpg)

Fellow IBA member's I ran into on the range:   (http://i1212.photobucket.com/albums/cc446/dizzy_higg/DSCN3501.jpg)

My hats off to the guys at the Indiana Traditional Bowhunters. They had a fine range and made us feel very welcome as first timers at their shoot.
