Title: youth bows
Post by: BMejia on March 20, 2011, 08:33:00 PM
Anyone know where I can buy a youth long bow? So far I have only found one bowyer who advertised them, the rest are take down recurves and wheeled arrow launchers.

The one bowyer I found looks good, but the price seems a little steep ($135 + shipping)...

I am looking for 48" max with a draw weight of 16-20# at 22-24". I am interested in a lam bow so it will be lighter mass weight.

My daughter was out with me today and she has clearly outgrown the little fiberglass deal I bought her a few years ago.

Thanks

Maddog Traditional Archery, a sponsor here has a 48" youth longbow for $95.

I don't know first hand, but I'm leaning toward a Maddog "Pup" for my grandchildren.

My son has a St. Joe River longbow, and he couldn't be any happier.

Maddog looks like what I am looking for.

Thanks everyone for the input!

   I like their exchange program too for when the kids get bigger.   ;)
