My Member number indicates that I am fairly new to Tradgang (two years this month). I felt that I just had to thank the folks (Mod's and other Members) here for their help and generosity.
When someone decides to try something new it is not always easy to find people willing to help and steer them in ways that allow them to learn and improve. I was blessed the day I stumbled, literally onto Tradgang. I have learned more about the sport here than I could ever have gleaned on my own. I have asked questions and found answers without condescension. I have engaged in friendly debate where all did not agree but all parties were treated with respect and I have been on the receiving end of generosity that came without strings. I have been invited to spend time hunting with others and mailed gifts from members I did not ask for. Quite frankly I am in awe of you folks and wanted to say Thank You .....
Just recently I posted in the classified that I wanted to buy some Pink feathers. Maybe I just did not look in the right place but try as I might I could not find 4" RW Shields in Pink (old eyes and tall grass)... well the post sat in the classifieds for a while with a few bumps and I get a PM....
"Hello Kip,
I'm getting ready to prep arrows for summer practice and 3D shoots and just ordered 100 full-length RW Pink (AMG). I have a chopper in 4" as that's what I shoot. PM me an address and I'll send you 4 dozen when they get here."
I was Happy and asked how much to send him but he said :)
"Don't worry about sending any money, it's on me."
No amount of arguing would do any good...
Thanks Dan aka Dannybows here's a picture of the finished half dozen or so. These are first class feathers, Dan did a great Job, and he also sent the pink wraps!!!
Thank you all :)
Kip

I know what you mean, I asked for pictures of a belt buckle and ended up getting several PM's offering them for free as a gift!
