I have the deluxe and am pleased with it. If you do a lot of single bevel I'd go with the knife sharpener to get the finer angle. Yes, you can sharpen with the arrow on. You just learn how to flip it and have a lot of room on either side of you.

I got the knife sharpner diamond kit from 3 rivers then I added a black hard Arkansas stone direct from KME. Sharpens everything.

Need a little more info.  Do you want to sharpen knives and BH's?  If so what kind of BH?  You can sharpen the BH on the arrow.  Easier with the Knife sharpener but can be done with either.  Give us a call and we will halp you figure it out.

Essentially for BH .I use Eclipse 4 blades.I'm using the X Block (was recommended product by 3Rivers)and it work well with the arrow on but I just get a good/ok cut, what I'm looking for is an Excellent cutting. After it's sharpened in the shop and then fixed on the arrow,we have to resharp after a few hunt.that's why I was asking.

Ron and Jake are two most outstanding peple you'll ever deal with. Products they produce can't be compared to any thing else on the market, nothing comes close. Money well spent.

Moose & Jeff,  Thanks for the kind words.  Ron is the man and I just try to help out when I can.  Ti,  The BH sharpener will work great for the Eclipse.  The standard is really all you need but the deluxe will have the fine Hard Arkansas stone as well.  The Eclipse are not too hard that they need the Diamond kit.  Give us a call and we will help you any way we can.

Tri-guy - another canuck here and a hearty recommendation as you have already heard about the KME. I got the standard unit, one or two years ago - does a fabulous job - and the folks at KME, very prompt with service, and the order. The sharpener is never too far away from my broadheads. You can't go wrong!

I have the standard knife sharpener. Works great for me. Just don't have a need for the diamond stones. They take way to much off for my taste. Have no trouble sharpening my 2 blade heads with the knife sharpener.

I have the standard knife, and received the deluxe BH kit as a gift at Christmas. Both take a little getting used to but once you figure it out....(And I haven't totally yet but I'm gtting close, LOL), you WILL have sharp BH's. Great product and product support if you need it.

kme knife w/diamonds, as only water is needed to carry away steel particles.  i also have the kme stones, which do require oil.  no matter what, the kme system is KILLER!
