Sure pays to find guys who hunt and think alike. Out there in all kinds of nasty weather, spending all day in the woods and sharing those fine memories after the season.
I'm fortunate to hunt with Bamboo and Southpawshooter...affectionately call ourselves the Tri State Terrors. Got a call from Bamboo last week said a package was arriving for me.
Opened it up and found a beautiful Brown Camo hooded pullover. This will be great for early season hunting. As I unfolded it, I noticed something....that personal touch. Along with that, a few weeks prior he found (I swear I have no idea how he finds this stuff) another item for me.
Here are a few pics....
Brown woodland blends in really well....

You're right Skipper, sure is nice when everyone is on the same page and ready to go when you are. No matter the weather or conditions, the gang is right there. Got my surprise too and am sure it will get alot of use. A big shout out to Mikey for the awesome gesture!

COOL...TST..
You guys are truly fortunate. No one I started hunting with still hunts! When on the trail, I prefer to be alone, but sure would be nice to have others to share the prep work, practice and success with.
Keep working at the process. Don't take it for granted - Jeeze, sounds like a marriage! Sort of is...
The best part of sharing the hunts is the excitement we feel for each others success. When we meet up and someone has arrowed a deer its a group effort in the tracking, recovery, hand shaking, smiles and then, usually...the long drag out.
On a few occasions thank God for the "Mikey Stomp". Saved alot of hard work....A real big shout out to Bamboo! How many times have we heard Bamboo tell other guys.."Your welcome to hunt with us..." or "You can hunt my stand..."
It really is fun sitting around after the season sipping out "favorite liquid" reminiscing about the past hunts and re living those memories...like the time we were over a mile from the truck and got caught in that downpour. 3 tired bowhunters heading out and......
Reading my mail Joe! Favorite liquid-Franziskahner Hefeweizen Dunkelbach. Finest wobblewater this side of Frankfurt. Always cold in the fridge. Welcome anytime. Same to you other folks. Give me some notice.
Thats great friendship,Just don't run off together... :scared:
You Jersey Hillbillys ain't right Ip! Ruth & I have a nice big house. Huntin 10 minutes down the road.
Straitera...will definately take you up on that offer if and when I'm down that way...
Also...LPC is moving to Georgia....now that's where they made that MOVIE and LPC had better learn to "Squeal like a Pig" while he's roaming around them swamps and hardwoods! :scared: :readit:
