I wanted to share a few pics of a range I am working on. Strips of old carpet rolled into tubes and duct taped. I use judos and rubber blunts.... mostly rubber blunts seems to work best.

That is a great idea. I might have to try something like that myself!
God Bless and thanks,

Good Idea, pretty simple too make. Thanks KYhunter
Thanks I like how simple it is to set up I can move targets around on property when I want to change it up and best of all its cheap I did buy a roll of velcro for foam blocks but I like the carpet tubes best and easy to replace when I need to.

Nice
Thanks for sharing that great idea. Looks like I have another project for this weekend.
We like to throw old carpet over our 3D deer targets & shoot rubber blunts at it. Saves the 3D target from falling apart from all the holes. This looks like another very good idea though. Thanks for sharing.
Another great way to make some inexpensive targets! That looks like a pretty slick idea. Thanks for sharing!

Nice, some good looking timber as well.
Good ideas. I like the rolled up carpet idea. Going to have to search for some scraps.
Thanks for posting.
They look great and that looks like a lot of fun to shoot. I love cheap targets. Thanks for sharing.
I have to admitt I saw the title and thought... "OK so whats up with cheap pics. I thought digi pics were cheap" Go figure.. Old guy.
Cool ideas... I like the carpet things.
PRETTY NEAT,,,GOOD SHOOTIN...
That would be a walk in the woods that I would realy enjoy
Here is one I put together for winter indoor shooting in the wet Pacific NW... A green house left over from my wife's commercial greenhous business. [ she retired 4 years ago ]
It's a frame I built and welded together from donated pipe and commercial greenhouse plastic... Not much at all involved, and very low maintance.... But it is dry and out of the elements for those long wet winter days and nights. I plan on covering it with metal soon and in addition to a range, I'll be using part of it as "dry storage" for kubota tractor and ski boat on the right hand side.
This one is 20x50' and has lighting, propane heat, and forced air ventilation.. During the summer it's way too hot to shoot in here so I move these targets, and several others out into the woods surroundung our log home/cabin, for more of a realistic setting.
In the mein time it allows for day or night time shooting...
