After seeing all the damage these broad heads can do on that other thread, I decided I needed to have some. So, I placed an order with 3R and got these 135gr Tiger Sharks w/short adapters. Played with them last night and got them balanced and spinning straight. They weigh between 162gr - 164gr and I will be using them this year on my AD Trad Lites.

What are you going to use to sharpen them TW? I've always thought those were wicked heads, but not for the sharpening challenged - me!
Inverted snuffer tamer will do wonders to these heads.
They came with a pretty good edge on them already. I have a concave honing steel made by Gerber that works pretty good on the Hill broad heads, and I'll just give them a little touch up.
I may be hunting challenged but, one thing I can do is sharpen things. Learnt that from my pappy at an early age growing up in Oklahoma. :D
Leatherneck: What in tarnations is an inverted snuffer tamer?
Wanna try these myself, they look like a great broadhead. I shot some of my buddies last year and they flew great out of a bow I was having trouble braodhead tuning. I since have gotten rid of that bow but need another excuse to get some, maybe because they are just down right mean lookin!!!!
They do look pretty mean don't they! I put them on the ends of my shafts and thought, "That's gonna make a nasty looking wound!" I hope I get to find out this upcoming season.
Those tiger sharks are one of my favorites along with the centaur big game heads, I use the steelmaster that Simmons sells, works great !!
I used the Simmons wheelie type sharpener on my sharks when I hunted with them. I wonder what an inverted snuffer tamer is/looks like also. These heads make great holes but I didn't get the penetration I hoped for.
Ummm...good choice. Tilamook Elks maybe?
When the Simmons are new all you need is a few "Light" strokes with ceramic rods to have them popping hair. I use the Simmons SteelMaster for that. It's a very useful sharpener and can also be used on knives. I use a KME for most other heads and knives, but find the SteelMaster just the ticket for removing that very fine burr.
Simmons are great. I hope to use one a couple turkey in about a month.
THE KILLS THATS FOR SURE....
i bought the big game heads from jim neaves of centaur..after checking them out i decided i was not going to even attempt getting them razor sharp and did the next best thing.took them to a guy i know who makes his living at it...boy howdy is he good at his job.scary sharp and he only charged me a buck fifty for each head.doin my part to stimulate the economy.
