Title: Insert ?? about the Beman Classic Arrows
Post by: david janssen on March 13, 2011, 07:38:00 AM
I wondered if anyone knows if you can install the alluminum inserts in the Beman Classic arrows?I have some 600 series with the 75 gr brass inserts right now, but I didn't know if they will accept a lighter weight alluminum insert. And if so how much would one of the alluminum inserts weigh?

Thanks for the help,

David

To my knowledge there are no other inserts that will work in that shaft.Approx. 36 gr would be the most if one existed. Are you having problems with that weight/flight?

Yes they will accept the aluminum inserts also. All Axis/MFX take the same size insert whether it is made out of brass or aluminum.I not sure of the weight of the aluminum insert but it is less then 20 grs..All Beman MFX Classic's 600,500,400 and 340 include the 75 gr.insert with them, they didn't do that when they first came out.All you got back then was the aluminum, you had to buy the brass ones seperate.
