This Bow is an old bow that belonged to a dear friend who is now passed away. It is a 58" recurve bow with green glass on the belly and black glass on the back. There is a picture of a kneeling hunter with a back quiver on getting ready to bring the bow up on a deer in the background. Below the picture is the inscription HUNTER 709.
The riser apears to be Zebra wood and has a flat shelf. The following numbers are on the left side of the lower riser:
09-4972 and x45#-28".
You might want to post this over on the collectors forum.
Some of those folks know their stuff.
God bless,Mudd

You guys are Great!! Thanks a million!!
This was Denver York's Bow and he was my bowhunting mentor. I straightened the limb last night and it will shoot now. I am going to put on my wwII camo and my Jones hat and go out and shoot a deer with it this year in honor of Denver. I just wanted to know who actually made the bow.
