Ok, I've done a search and found a wide array of information on ILF bows but, hardly any pics. Please post up some pics of your setup if you have them. Need some ideas please. :D
Wannabe, I see you are starting out in ILF, me too! Once I get my riser and limbs(belcher-sky 15" riser and SB Flute glass foam and a set of belcher limbs) we should contact each other and talk!! Should be cool, I am gonna try an elevated rest and plunger set-up and may even pull a Rusty and shoot a sight. Let me know! Shawn
Shawn, PM sent.
I want to shoot mine off the shelf and got a great idea from another member.

Can you use ILF longbow limbs on a Hoyt Excel recurve riser?
I have a 17" Border ILF riser in Midnight Heritage with Border HEX 5 H limbs on order. It is about 7 weeks away. I can get pics when that arrives if you like.

I just recieved mine and am playing with it! I set it up to shoot off an elevated rest with plunger. So far in the basement I cannot shoot at the same spot twice, I have wrecked 3 arrows out of a new dozen. I will send someone a pic. and have them post it. Shawn
:biglaugh: Shawn that's real encouraging. I'm looking forward to the pics.

A Warfed Hoyt TD3 with KAP Carbon limbs.
Here's a couple pics of two Morrison's the zebrawood/phenolic riser is wearing a set of Bob's Carbon/maple action wood cored "D" length L/B limbs.
The dark Diamondwood/phenolic riser is wearing a wonderful set of Hoyt G3 "Long" recurve limbs the zebrawood riser without limbs has been sold (http://i753.photobucket.com/albums/xx177/BrokenArrow-03/My%20Bows/DSCF0006.jpg)

Gene,My son is shooting that Morrison zebrawood
riser I got from you with a matching set of SKY
zebrawood long limbs on it. He is getting pretty
good with it,and that set-up really gets the looks. Thanks Buddy,Ryan.
Hoyt Excel

Beautiful bows everyone! Thanks for sharing them with me.
KYhunter: That's the setup I was looking for. I have a 21" Hoyt Excel riser with short Trad Tech Black Max 45# limbs on the way. This will make a 62" bow. I did go ahead and get a different grip as I don't care for the plastic one. I am going to set it up to shoot off the shelf and add one of those Sims vibration dampeners plus Bowjax string silencers.
Eventually, I would like to get a set of the Wood/Clear glass medium limbs to make a 64" bow. Need to sell off a couple more items to make that happen though.

Outstanding performance and looks...
God Bless, Pierre
How would you put a quiver on the Hoyt Excel riser? I am also contemplating having it camo dipped.
I have the Blackmax wood/glass short limbs 40# and waiting on a set of 50# Blackmax carbon limbs and a wood grip they have been on back order for a while thru Tradtech.
I'm using a GFA quiver but there are several types of quivers that could be used....BigJim does camo dipping.
Jim
The Excel is threaded for a sight/quiver or they will still work with a 2pc quiver designs.
Thanks guys.
Chris: I was wondering if the site threads would work for a quiver. Do you know which model in particular that would work?
Any of the quick release type quivers like Kwickee, Bohning or actually most any quiver that would mount on a compound.
Sweet, really appreciate it. I'm now looking at the 3 arrow Kwikee quiver that has that quick release mechanism.
Great quivers, been around for ever for a reason! Simple and get the job done!!
Keep your eyes peeled fellas! Once this thing is pieced together, I'll be posting some pics. :D
I just another post on Eagles Flight thread, you must have just purchased my favorite quiver, a EFA quiver!!
Chris, that quiver is for a different bow. I have an EFA that has been going strong for a touch over 5yrs now. Great quivers!
