Title: what am i doin wrong with woodsmans

i paper tuned then bareshaft/fletched tuned stingers fly awsome fldpts and stingers shoot same spot tried woodsmans terrable groups! tried mounting 1blade up and v up no good heres a thought though the length of the head .my draw is 27.25 the shaft tuned at 29.

maybe they just tune different and the effective arrow spine is different due to the different head shape

Maann, never had a problem with WW's shooting, some of the best bh's out there, shooting through trad gear or wheelie bows. Check out rest of bow also.

If your bow is tuned....and arrows spin true...all bheads should fly to same spot even with a 50 grain swing at 20 yards.

im wound up i turned the nock a little bit vwala perfect.must of had a bit of fletch clearance issues.i luv this site .only 4 yrs strictly trad u can ask a ? or ask for advice and u get great in put.just received my 5th recurve 3wks ago and just sold my last trainingwheels i have found trad very gratifing.i will never look back!

I have found the same results as both Charlie and Terry had comunicated.

Kind of been quiet about it since I didn't know this experience was widely shared.

If your arrow is bare shaft tuned to @ least 25 yards and well centered w/i the nice flight range, you have much more lattitude.

Here's my question: if you have a BH that shoots well for you, why change? And PS Woodsmans fly fine out of any bow I've ever shot them with, provided the arrow is tuned correctly.
