The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. Ok I have a problem, I am new to traditional archery I recently received my first long bow a Mohawk 64" 40# @ 26 " Cocobolo riser bamboo limbs with red elm veneers. What a awesome bow. Now the problem I have a Dywer on order and am already looking at a third. Do I need help or is this normal..
From what ive seen on here its normal ! If my billfold was fatter Id have a closet full !
You need no help,keep enjoying!!
It's a "sick"ening problem that usually gets worse before getting better - just be reasonable. And as I remember someone telling me ...the most important things in life, are not things.
Take care friend.
Its good to know that you're surrounded by like-minded people huh?! I think most of us share the sickness!
Before the fire took 'em, I had 20 some bows....I now only have 6 or 8.....so far, anyway..friend of mine is a tatoo artist and sells a tee shirt that says 'Welcome to your new addiction', it also applies here.
Fred....
My wife says that we are long lost brothers!!!!

Jon,
Are you married? If so she will definitely let you know if your new love becomes a Problem!
But from what I've heard so far you seem perfectly Normal.
Normal. I would say you are just getting started. Enjoy the journey as you only have "one" tank of gas in this life.
Absolutely normal!! I haven't even got my Big Jim Buffalo Bow tuned properly and I'm already checking the classifieds!
My as well order you a Blackwidow while the ordering is still fresh. Y of course you are normally addicted. :smileystooges:
No one needs more than one bow....lol
God bless,Mudd
You may have acute Rowan's-syndrome... it's too early to tell yet... we'll most likely be able to tell after the first hundred bow purchases or so.
Good luck to you.
ordered my new bow today ,and am looking at what else is out there (just in case)???
Don't worry!!!
How can we help you when we can't help ourselfs. Its normal.
Don't worry when it becomes a real problem the wife with let you know and she should wean you from your addiction.
I understand the situation but I fail to see the problem.
There always seems to be at least one that keeps my interest peaked and my rat hole stash in a continuous rebuilding mode.
Enjoy it while you can because if you ever get laid off your addiction problem will be solved for you. It's better than a 12 step program. :readit:
God forbid that should ever happen to you.
For me 3 times in 4 years snapped me back to reality.
Doctor said you've got a bad case and it's too late for you to be saved...sorry. lol

Werd. I'm at what seems like the end of a two year program of my own.
It's OK, in to the trad bow thing for 7 months now, I have had and traded two bows, currently have one and two on order.
It OK, don't worry .... be happy!
I would say you are as normal as the rest of us. I have one more wheelie to sell so I can buy my third stick bow. Isn't the simple life grand?
They will stop making them when you have enough!
Its normal. I have only shot traditional for over a year and have owned more trad bows in that time than 8 years of compound shooting! I need a block from the classifieds here!
