My boy was one of the happy winners last month of a Maddog Pup longbow. I want to thank Vermonster for this program they are doing for kids. I also want to thank Mike at Maddog Archery for building this great bow! The only thing that was asked on my part was to hand the bow down when he outgrew it and to take plenty of pics. Well here is day one of the pics. Landon, my son recieved the bow yesterday and I let him take it from there, as the pics will tell.
I just gave him the gift from TradGang

Those looks are why we do the things we do.
Fred...
He has been shooting for a year now but the bow he was using was to big for him, pounds were good but the recurve was taller than him. First thing he said was how much better this bow felt to him, made me think he actually pays attention to what feels good and doesn't, he must really like this archery stuff like his ole man! Landon and myself thank you again David and Mike!!!!!!!
Great way to start your son. Dave and Mike are a couple of the "Good 'Uns"! (don't tell them I said that)

THE KIDS GOT TALENT....WAY TO GOOOO
Awesome :clapper:
Pretty new round here. Haven't posted previously, so I hadn't heard about this. Man what a great program. Everyone who has had anything to do with this should be proud of themselves ... Good job guys.
Yup....your sons' big grins tell the story! He's definitely hooked on the ol' "stick and string". Just like daddy! Hey Chris, btw...love the name "Landon"! That's my boys' name! Now, at 16...he shoots better than me! Robin :archer2:
Man rholzie with this bow he might overtake me, he shot it pretty good. I can't believe how much better he seems to be with this bow. Of course I should no that you need a bow that fits you and your needs in order to shoot it well and he has one now!
Great shooting, your boy is an awesome shooter. Congrats for your bows new bow.
BIG :bigsmyl: SMILE say a lot! Thanks Dave and Mike for all you do.

Ckanous, do you mind me asking your sons height in inches? Trying to figure out a few things for my 4.5 year old son.

Chris, I was hoping to make it over this week but I'm gonna be heading to WV to unload a bunch of my tools and such out of my garage. Moving into an apartment next month and don't have much room. If I get a free moment though I'll give you a ring and we'll do some shooting.
Love it.
Shot a little bit today and got a few more pics of my boy shooting the PUP!!
