Could some of you post pics of your arrows.
I'm new to making arrows, so these aren't the best looking ones, but here are my humble submissions:
This is the first batch I ever made being stored in a home-made bamboo quiver - POC using some left over stain/sealant from a household project:

The fletching started coming off after shooting this one for awhile, so taking a cue from Derek's (Bountyhunter's) youtube video, I tried the "Medieval style" wrapping on it using some red thread I had laying around:

Here's one from the next batch I'm trying to make, using some black wood stain, fletch-tape and Onestringer trad wraps:

I've been working on a few. Here's 6 of a dozen I finished up. Surewood fir with purple heart footings. I spliced some color with barred feathers and fletched 6 pink and 6 chartreuse.

Sorry if you've seen this pic before... it is a few years old. Camo POC arrows to (roughly) match pommele sapele wood.

Douglas Fir - almost 600 grains for hunting. Fourth arrow is an experimental camo.

Sitka Spruce - 430 grains for 3D (execpt for that broadhead!).

Try this take a shaft that is ready to stain. Put a light color stain on it. Now take a oil lamp and burn the stain. While doing this keep turning the shaft. It smokes the shaft and doesn't burn the wood. Looks like camo. Take a bad shaft and try it.
Here is my first wood arrow build.
