Title: Bryce Lambley
Post by: gregg dudley on March 07, 2011, 09:02:00 PM
Hey guys!  I just wanted to take a minute to thank Bryce for being the guest speaker at the TBOF banquet on Saturday night.  His presentation on deer hunting, trail cameras and hunting techniques was very well received.  I would highly recommend him as a speaker.  He also seems like a really nice guy.

Nice to have a tradgang member as a guest speaker.  Bryce is the third.

Bryce was great. A super nice and knowledgable fellow and a great speaker. Bryce is welcome in my camp ( or on my boat) anytime.

Yes sir, Bryce is a good guy. I lived in the same Nebraska town as he does. I didn't know him very well, but I knew he was a good hunter. He's invited to my camp anytime as well. He has had the invite, maybe in the future.

Hey Bryce, headed back "home" to my sister's wedding in Oct. I plan on hunting while I'm back, maybe see you around.

Bryce is a great writer and I admire his words in print very much...not a bad deer hunter either  :)

Bryce will continue his role as an educator through seminars, books and articles. I'm glad he takes the time to share his knowledge and passion. Thank you Bryce! Mike

Bryce does an outstanding job and is right at the top of the list as "must have" speakers for your bowhunting event.   He did a fine job for us here in MT as well.  Keep up the good work, Bryce!

Bryce,

I didn't realize you were this famous. Congrats, sounds like you did a great job at the banquet.

Yeah, nebraska should expect a climb in residency.  All my compadres are talking about moving there after seeing those big buck pics!

Those buck look big because Bryce is so small.  Just joking. Bryce is a good friend and he deserves everything you guys are saying.  He is one of the best hunters and people I know.

Bryce is one of the good guys.  I sure wouldn't have taken a poke at him like Tom just did though.
You guys in Florida were lucky to have him - don't know if he mentioned it, but this last weekend was the Nebraska Bowhunters Association's 27th annual awards banquet.

Guys, enough already.   :)

Thanks for the kind words; they really are appreciated.  It was great to be able to be in FL even if it meant missing our NE event.  Let's see, 70s and 80s v. freezing weather/snow.  The chance to shoot 3-Ds in a short-sleeve t-shirt.  Getting to hang out on a beach, do some fishing, find 40+ prehistoric shark teeth on the shores of a remote island.  Not a tough call.   :)

To be told by my hunting partner and best friend to pick that 'thing' up for a picture.  Which happened to be a Portuguese man-o-war; luckily I didn't get harmed.  Hey, they don't have those up here.     :dunno:

Met some great people at the shoot and while seeing the sights down near Cocoa Beach/Melbourne, just as I did last year in MT.  After seeing the Florida countryside, I've got a healthy respect for ANYONE who successfully bowhunts deer in that vegetation where visibility (even in winter) is extremely limited.

Thanks to DonD and Gregg and TBOF for a great weekend.

Bryce, it was nice meeting you and enjoyed your presentation. Thanks so much for giving back to the traditional community. Sounds like Don showed you a pretty good time.

"my hunting partner and best friend"???? HHHHAAAAA! And I just get to hunt with Gene, Marty and Biggie in comparison. Bryce, I feel so very bad for you! UB

They don't come much better than Bryce Lambley, both as a human being and a bowhunter. He not only hunts very hard but always has his head screwed on right. He is one of my favorite people and a real asset to our passion with sticks and strings.
