Title: bow hush question
Post by: bowgy on March 05, 2011, 02:34:00 PM
I just ordered a bow hush to try to quiet a recurve. They don't seem to have a contact email.  Does anyone know if you can still use brush buttons over them?

Never tried it....I never got Brush Buttons to work good....at either deflecting brush or silencing a bow.  That was before I developed BowHush.

Every time I tried brush buttons, they increased bow noise. They never stayed on any bow I had for more than a few shots.Just extra weight on the string that you don't need.Occasionally I will get a small twig caught between limb and string but not that often. It just isn't a big deal.

Never cared for brush buttons. they caught more brush than they kept out. Bowhush is good stuff.....Randy

the high mass weight of those lumps of "brush button" rubber can, and almost always do affect bow performance, too.
