I have a chance to get one of these cheap...anyone own them - what you think....
Love mine. They are not the latest and graetest out there so they have come down on price, but you shouldn't need anything better. I hunt in deep Louisiana hardwood bottoms where you can't see 5 yards in front of you sometimes. They track well and get you to and from where you are going.
Great unit. My Dad has one and loves it. Highly recommend it.
It's my "go to" GPS unit and has worked perfectly in a lot of spots, from the Colorado high country to deep, dark, southern pine thickets that block the sky. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.
I have one and also like it.

They are a very good GPS. They receive satellites really well. I tested mine in a forest with heavy canopy of trees and it had no problems. I bought mine used and it has a topo map that is pretty good. The digital compass is accurate...tested it against a "real" compass. If you can pick one up for under $200 I'd buy it.
I can get one for $185 I guess I should jump on it, the store has one left they are holding for me til end of today...
Buy it. You will not be dissappointed. LIke I say there may be better, but its WAY MORE than you need. They are right about the compass, it's a great backup.
My 60CSx has been one of the best pieces of gear I've ever had. Really helps in the dark when you have a complicated path to your destination. Nice coming out too.
Get it. It's a great rig. If I didn't get the Dakota 20 I'd of got the CSX. The CSX has a better antenna.
