Title: Lefties R Us
Post by: ChetterB on March 05, 2011, 08:39:00 AM
Thanks Barry for this great website. Many times I have been visiting with many of our excellent bowyers and most times they remind me that us lefties are only 10% of traditional bow population. Well quess what thanks to Barry we have our own website to purchase excellent bows!!! I just finished a transaction with Barry the experience was first class, and the bow I recieved is the finest product I have ever shot, Thanks again Barry, Hey Lefties give Barry a call you will be glad you did, Thanks Jerry.

Yep.  I bought an old Hunter Takedown from him.  Nice to have a place to shop without having to pick through for that "LH" or stare at pictures and try and figure it out.

Yep, the archery manufacturors says for every 10 RH bows they make 1 LH bow (so that's lower than 10%).  However, when eye dominance is determined, at least twice as many folks should be shooting LH

Awl Shucks, thanks a bunch...ya'll are the best!!!

I'm an "acquired" lefty.  I am strongly Right-Handed and do everything EXCEPT shoot my trad bows RH.  This is due to my left-eye dominance.  Funny, now I can't even draw right-sided bows and I find that shooting lefty is the only RIGHT way to shoot!  :readit:  Friends, STAY TUNED.... I am working with TG's own A.S. (Allen Shafer) to introduce our own line of D-10 FF strings.  Allen is a string-tying GURU and I am excited about this new partnership.

I am also bringing the RADA line of lefty hunting/fishing knives and WHEEL sharperners to L.R.U. in the next weeks.

Finally, I hope to introduce our own line of L.R.U. bows & quivers; crafted especially for Lefties, by the end of the Summer.

Barry, sounds like you are hard at work building this thing up nicely!

Thanks for the kind words on my strings. I am in the process of building the first of our "stock" color patterns. We should have some pics within a couple days.

Hello Barry, Sounds great -- strings, bows, knives, Keep my address handy I am sure we will be doing more business together. Thanks again for supporting us Lefties. Oh by the way I am right handed on everything I do except I am lefteye dominate so I shoot left handed. Whats great about this combination is a strong bow arm is helpful for good form.later Jerry.

I'm a lefty, and shoot rt. handed because it always felt right, and happened to be rt. eye dominate. I have 3 boys that are all lt. eye dominate. Looks like no hand me downs for them.
