Title: Astro Flight string material
Post by: Hermon on March 04, 2011, 07:32:00 PM
Brownell's shows that Astro Flight is available in sand/sage/dark brown color but I cannot find anyone that stocks it.  Has anyone happened to find it anywhere in that color?

i've seen a small speed gain (1-2 fps) between astroflight and ultracam (both strings were 8 st endless loop).  the astroflight seemes noticably quieter.  i feel the astroflight has more control (a better feel) to my release.  i like the astroflight a lot.

I just made 2 strings with my neighbor, one for my Bama royal and one for my son LimbLover using Astro flight,I was shooting D97 which shot great, but the Astro flight is even better! Check 3Rivers they stock a lot of Astro Flight!

I have been shooting astroflight (8 strands with padded loops)for about a year now. I'm sold on it. It's very quiet and just has a soft feel to it.

Brandon Stahl made me a string of Astro Flight for a bow of his that I own. He is high on the material, and now that I have shot it, I am too. Much quieter than my D97 strings.
