Today I finally pulled the trigger, and traded the last of my wheel bow's for a custom T/D Recurve. Now it's offical, 100% Traditional. No lookin back now. :goldtooth:

Great! Good for you man. I did the same thing twice, the last time being in 2008. The first time I did it was around 1995 but that lasted only until 1999 I think it was.
That last time was for good. I am "wheel free" and loving it more and more everyday.
Way to go!!!
Aint it just AWESOME!?
Feels good doesn't it.

I made the switch in 2009 after shoot a Compound bow for 20+ years I am have the best time I just love this stuff, My tip to you is just have fun.
I do love it. Nothing else like it.
Good for you! Best of luck with it and bless you for spelling it correctly.
Wish I could jump off the fence like you! I've only been shooting trad for 8 months but love it more and more every time I shoot. Just can't quite bring myself to dump the wheels even though I haven't even looked at the thing in 8 months. I think once I get my first animal and prove to myself I can really do it I'll have an easier time taking the training wheels off.
I gave up my compound in 1989,Never looked back. You wont be sorry.
Been about eight years now and I've never regreted it one bit. Good on you! Jason
I love everything about traditional archery, nothing like it. From bow tuning to arrow building. To me it's much more rewarding to watch an arrow you built fly like a dart, and hit where you look. :archer2:

You will be glad you switched traditional is more simple and less complicated. More natural. Good luck.
Wish i had done it years ago.
