If this is the guy from southern Ohio, you wont go wrong. I saw his bows at Kalamazoo and was impressed.

Last year I bought my wife a one piece Harvest Master which is also made by Roman.  It's a very nice bow. Very fast for the weight and the workmanship is fabulous.

I also just bought a 64" 51# version of what you have above.  I shot it at Kalamazoo and just couldn't get it out of my head.  You should be very happy.  I agree with Dave Mitchell.  They are fast, quiet, and stable bows with superb craftsmanship.

Top notch. I shot one in Kalamazoo @ the expo and ordered one immediately. They are very smooth and quick but the most noticeable characteristic was how quiet they are.

Thanks folks!  I actually shot a near twin to the bow above, over the weekend. A 45lb, 60" model. It's what convinced me to buy another stick after many years off from shooting trad gear.

George at Tollgate was johnny-on-the-spot with answering my questions and getting the bow out to me. I'd definitely recommend him and glad to see he is a sponsor here.

My thread title was written in jest, but good to hear all the positive feedback. Of course all the "positive feedback" I needed was when I shot one, but still, very reassuring!  :D

I think you will like them. I've shot a few models and liked them all, Roman builds nice bows. Shot a short Harvest Master that I liked quite a bit.

I've got a 56" Harvest Master recurve on order I'm waiting impatiently for.

It has arrived, and while I hate to say it because it's such a  cliche; the pics really don't do the bow justice.

While I have not shot trad in many years, I've been around alot of high end custom bows, and owned several from bowyers big name and small, and I've yet to see one with the kind of fit, finish and QC that this bow has. This thing is a work of art. I'm very thankful I lucked into shooting one of these. I'd never even heard of them prior to handling one.

Now, I've got to get a stringer, and all the other stuff I no longer own (glove, appropriately spined arrows, etc) so I can string & shoot the danged thing!

Jeff, I talked with Roman this evening and he said to enjoy your new bow and if you have any questions or problems feel free to call him or me. Our phone numbers are on the website linked at the bottom of my signature.

I just handed Colin his and he walked out of the house with a smile on his face.

Nice bows.  I have one just like it on order.  I shot a harvest master quite a bit today and may need one of those someday.

Thank You Kenny- very much appreciated! Please give Roman my regards and props for such a fine piece of work. The gentleman obviously loves what he does!    :D

Well I got my stringer and glove at the least!  :D   Had to get the shop to fletch up some arrows for me, as I no longer own a fletching jig capable of doing anything longer than 2" fletch (in time, I will be getting everything I need as I much prefer to fletch/build my own stuff)

So next Friday when I am off from work,I will be able to pick up the arrows and give a initial shooting report  :D

After having mine for just shy of 24 hours my advice is buy extra nocks or don't shoot groups.

Will post pics within a day or two.  Pretty busy this weekend.

Awesome. I started crashing arrows too right away with this bow (the one I shot last week) and thats what really convinced me to pick up another stick.  Granted, only shooting 10 yards, but I have not shot a longbow in about 9 or 10 years, so...

I need to take some pics as well-hope to see yours soon too!     :D

Will get some pics.  Just swamped with work and making Arrow of Light Cub Scout arrows.

I did take the new Wildcat to my indoor bow league tonight.  Let's just say I am very happy.  I haven't shot it much before tonight.  It was a great night at the league, and I feel really good about this bow and my confidence is very high with it.

The bow turns some heads too.

Here's my Hunter Longbow Roman made for me two years ago. I liked it so much I ordered another made out of Morado for the riser, actionboo cores, and tonkin cane veneers dirtied up a little bit. Should be ready soon. Kenny, you may have seen the one I just described that Roman's making. The first one came up a bit short so he's making another.

Congratulations on your new bow JeffB.
