Make 'em squeal Joe.
Well, I'm back.
What a fun hunt, although I did not get a Javalina. I saw 4 but never got a even close to a shot. Walking back to the truck in the dark one night I had one run by me at 10 yards and I just about crapped in my shorts. I had a great time. The property is one amazing place, 32 square miles of high TX desert. It is right off of I10 ten miles west of Sierra Blanca Tx and 10 miles North of Mexico, at 5600 ft.(85 degrees at noon and frozen water at sunrise). Our group of 6 hunters saw 20 Javis but only killed one (they were in hiding some where). We hunted hard for 5 days and laught a lot. Kent, of Mahaska bows, and the owner of the ranch have worked hard to provide a quality hunt. I have unfinished buisness there and plan to go back.... ASAP...
Glad you had fun Joe. It is amazing how scary those little stinkers can be in the dark when they surprise you.
Joe I was their in '99 and I still have some unfinished busniess their also. 10 guys in camp and 9 javies killed. None by me. Awsome country.

Thanks for the report. Sorry you didn't get to pull a string on a javi. I love the high desert country. Awesome place.
