Been dealing with John Dill for around 6 years. No complaints. I credit him with makeing me become a better shot with a trad bow. I own more kanati quivers than he does. I got a 47lb addiction recurve that has killed a bunch of stuff . I recently got a 56lb addiction from John. My shoulder has been my down fall shooting anything over 50lbs for awhile. This bow , although only 56" has a longer working limb than my 60" widow. I shoot it good and for a while with no ill effects. I killed my first animal with this bow last wed in SC. 151lb boar. shot was 17yds out of a tree. abowyer brownbear head broke the off side leg bone into. centered the heart and pig died in 25 yds. Great rig, but this pig had more shield than the 204lber I killed with the 47lb bow. I'm looking to up my arrow wt and maybe a 3 blade next time.
My point is, I can shoot this bow at 9 lbs more than my 3pc takedowns and also pretty accurate.
This is the only pic I took of the pig. It was taken the next morning. I forgot to take any that night. Don

Don, you've been puttin' em down bud!! Glad to hear the 56#er is working for ya! If my shoulder keeps acting up I may be giving John a call about that little 41# Addiction it would work real good with my slim jim.
Congrats on a fine hog!
Well done!
Good job Don, way to take em down!!!
Cool pic! Congrats!
:clapper:
Awesome congrats.
Big congrats sir, well done.
Well Done Congrats.
lookin good Mr. Don!
Good deal Don.
Rock solid post Don! Great job w/hog & bow! I'm forwarding this thread to another friend to read. Thanks
Sounds good. I need to shoot one of those bows.
Way to go Don...You're right about John - he's a class act and fine fella....
I think you'd like one Mac, I know I love mine, ("Blackie", a 54" and 50# at 28", I don't draw it that far but it sure is easy drawing and sweet shooting). You're always welcome to come down and shoot her (like you did my other bows), although I believe John's house is closer to you - and he has a wider selection - LOL.
Another great job, Don - except for the slight slip on the picture taking (before dressing the rascal out - LOL). Still a good picture though, none the less. Glad to hear your shoulder is holding up better now, with a heavier bow - they (shoulders) can sure be aggravating when they are hurting.
You really let the air out of that one.
Good shootin' Don....as usual!
I'm needing to call John and get a new quiver very soon. You just can't beat his quivers!!
Boy....its good to have great friends! Great job Don!!! Thats some fine equipment...but its the man behind the string punchin those pigs!!!!! Glad it all came together!!! :D
Hope to have a 60 pounder soon. Will see how sweet she is too.
Excellent shooting as always Don...congrats bud :clapper:
:bigsmyl:
Congrats Don. You are a good shooter, hunter, and representative.
I was looking at a map showing hogs in the U.S. According to this map there are a lot more hogs in SC then NC, and a whole lot more hogs in Florida. It kinda wetted my appetite for a Florida hunt.
:clapper: Way to go!!!
Good stuff Don.
Well done Don !
Great pig Don congrats.LCH
Lookin good Don!!
Bill
Hey 2fletch, you need to get down to Fla and shoot some of them hogs. Always nice to see you.
Well I been uping my arrow wt this week. I got a cx 350 with big jims 300gn 3blade shooting really good. Its a 730 +- arrow with just over 20 percent foc. Don't know how fast it's shooting , but don't really care. I'm point on at 30yds and the bow is scary quiet. These heads are BAD looking. I tried sharpening one and got it really sharp. Turkey season comming up. We'll see. DB
Congrats Don. Nice shooting!!
That is skinniest hog I've ever seen. You need to start feeding them something more nutricious than steel
Don
I found a way to get you up to 890 grains. Fly's pretty good to!
CONGRATS,ON THE PIG AND THE BOW....KEEP KILLIN...
thanks for sharing . keep them arrows flying striaght.
Super Job...........♠
Great hog, tusks look great, but looks like some slim pikin's on the meat  Bow and quiver look great also.
