Post by: 30pointbuck on February 27, 2011, 07:10:00 PM
I noticed today while shooting, my serving was looking pretty rough, anyone have a link on how to reserve. Couldn't find one in the how to sect.

Now you can play with different serving diameters to get the perfect nock fit.  Finally found the right diameter for my classic nocks.  Makes a huge difference.

I'll deffinatly have to redo this the serving diameter is too small. I wrapped some dental floss in between the 2 knocks. Fits just right with it.

I like to use the best serving that I can afford which is the braided serving in the largest diameter they have. It has worked great for all my flemish twist strings at least 12 strand. A 14 strand is better, but just a bit heavy and I like the 12 strand. You will get better each time you serve a string and after just a few you will be a pro at it.
