First off Re-hab is for quitters. After 40 years of flinging arrows and hunting at my stage in life, and for as long as were here I have no intentions of cutting back on the things that really matter.Mudd, hopefully will post some pics of my "Bow Room" and all the things I've collected over the years. So Re-joice and lets see your " Stuff " LOL
*******POSTED for Steve Clandinin.................
Steve sent me 10 photos and I will post all of them but it will have to be in two different post as "flood control" only allows 8 at a time so 5 now and 5 in the next post.
Just so you know I have already told Steve that after looking at his pictures.....
I said BTW, I hate you!...lol
Way too organized and clean two definite signs of a very sick mind...lol

Always!! But the pictures you were looking at are Steve's so don't judge my stash by his.
I am not anywhere nearly as organized as he is and I only have a few bows and never enough arrows...lol
God bless,Mudd
Quite the collection. Some beautiful gear you have. But really, how do you keep your room so neat? Maybe it's just pretty for picture day...or I'm just messy.
I need to make an arrow rack like that. Very nice, very functional.
Easy,Its easy! Everythings got a spot, theres actually a lot more in closets and around the house. The Kids are grown and gone!
Very nice....need to show these to the wife so she can get a grip on my level of "sanity" in comparison.....lol.

Roy, what bow is that sexy r/d one, 3rd from the top (or bottom)? A Big Jim TC?
And just to clear some thoughts: "It ain't a mess if ya made it yourself" ;)
-SveinD-
No way I'd ever post a picture of my disorganized pile after that. What kind of sick person has plenty of arrows all sorted anyway? Frankly, it's disturbing. It makes me feel all clean inside just looking at it. I'm going to visit my wallow and try to forget I saw this.
Passthru His wife keeps it all straight.Thats the only way she will alow it in the house.
Passthru,to funny !
Svein, the 3rd down is a Big Jim Thunderchild, and the one above that is Big jims 3 piece.
Danny ,theres lots of truth to that,BUT... once you get alot of stuff they rarely notice when something new is added.
I did a little editing of my original posts so hopefully any confusion will be cleared up.
I wouldn't want to mislead anyone into thinking I was anywhere near that compulsively neat....lol
God bless,Mudd
Steve, that place really looks like a "Pro Shop".
I love such a organized place.
My setup is a bit more modest, though semi-tidy:

Nice set-up and some great bows there!
It never fails for me. I'll go downstairs to twist a string, add a nock locator, wax, etc. An hour later it seems as if every doo-dad, spool of serving thread, scissors, pliers, bubble-wrap, tape, etc. are scattered all over my work bench. Oh, and 3-4 drawers open and stuff in the floor.
Why does it take longer to clean it up than to create the clutter? The thing that usually motivates me to put everything back in its place is the fear that a misplaced or forgotten blade will nick a string! Or a metal this or that will scratch Cocobolo!
Bowwild your right,so much needed to do so little,I've got my wife believing that too.
Bowbender,real nice looking room.
I lost a knife in my room and it honestly took two years to find,I said no more! LOL
Felix,I couldn't imagine your collection,It would blow all of our minds.REMEMBER.the door is always open my friend,Lots of country and game to show you ! LOL,Wild Boars,Gophers Birds etc.etc.
TFN. :readit:
I'm with Passthru!
I would be highly embarrassed to show a pic of my house! :o
Killdeer
thanks Steve,maybe in May.
I also agree with PassThru. I actually first looked at this thread over an hour ago, but immediately ran away screaming! However, I understand that you have to face your fears to overcome them, so I'm back. :bigsmyl: , I'm drooling over all your beautiful gear. I could get lost in there for days! Simply awesome.
If I was to post pics of the inside of my boat even the real slobs amoung us would be repulsed. I'm normally an organized person, but living in a 27' sailboat has about cured me of that. Can't wait for Spring so I can get this place Ship-Shape and Bristol-Fashion again. I'm re-building a vintage Suzuki carbeurator at the moment, and hoping none of the parts I've lost track of are too important. Lol!
Steve,
In that second row of pics Mudd posted for ya I see two bows that looked like they were once in my stable...The Bruin Huntmaster you got from that kid a year or so ago that you didn't think will make it to you and the Kodiak Mag I traded for that knife and binocs that I love so much...When I saw your stable of bows I was wondering if they were still with you and wouldn't you know it I spotted them quickly...Just showed that knife to my brother last week and told him the story behind it..Thanks Mudd for being the "Middle Man"...God Bless, Keefer's <")))><
mudd, those pics of your friends man cave is so clean its sickening :D
Nice pics, Mudd!
Wow, I need to get organized.
@ Steve and Mudd : Lol, maybe I read it all next time :p
So many sweet bows being made! Want to shoot them all!
Great stuff to see! Thanks for sharing with us.
Steve! We're not worthy we're not worthy! lol Nice collection!! I'm not posting my little 3 bow collection lol.

Wow, that is unbelievable. You guys have some nice, dedicated bow places. I can't imagine. You must have some very understanding wives that you keep very HAPPY.
Keef,Your so right both those bows use to be yours. So good to hear from you ,hope your well.I don't know about understanding wife, more like tolerant. She actually gave up years ago.She agrees on Bow-Alchoholism !LOL
I love making things right now I'm in the middle of a Mountainman style BackQuiver and matching Haversack and Armgaurd,I'll post when shes done.
Very nice toy rooms.
Kids seem to hold on their toys longer if they put them back in their place.
I am only slightly envious since I doubt that I could provide each the proper love they deserve.
Mine is way to messy to show...lol! It's good to see I'm not the only one!! :biglaugh:
That man cave is so clean it could be used as a surgical wing. This pig is very impressed, here is a pic of my bowrack, you ain't about to see the rest of the room. (http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/zz171/jess_stuart/100_3685.jpg)
Jeezzee Mudd, you changed your pic, and I didn't notice it until now.
Boy what a dunce.
awsome den and bows i have lots and lots of catching up to do
Steve ... man are you way neater than me !
Ben,its not so much neat,I just hate loosing things.LOL
Wow! What a bowroom
Very tasty, and oh-so-neat but you neglected to NAME THE BOWS on the rack for all to admire.
I was thinking Pro Shop too. VERY nicely done and I like the comment about having enough stuff to confuse with the new addition. No need for everything to be announced.... I'm inspired to improve my "arrangement".
WOW- I have a lot of archery stuff but it's way more unorganized.
