Hey Gents
Just received my second MOAB in the mail (used). Does any one know what kind of limb wood this is, it's pretty, but I don't know what it is.

Look for Jacobsladder's firefly on the first page.
could be tamo ash
Whatever it is it sure is nice...
Quilted maple would be my guess
I agree with sleepyhollow....Tamo ash
Quilted maple would been my first answer, but the pattern there... Sleepy might be on to something there - a dark stained Tamo???
Looks like it might be Pommele Sapele. It may have been treated with Aqua Fortis to make such dark contrast.
Stained Tamo Ash, I believe.
you could send the pic to jim at thunderstick and find out for sure. great guy to talk to.
Waterfall ash, tamo ash or Maybe quilted maple....all stained!
/??
Thanks Gents
