Title: Sasquatch Lives
Post by: Bobmeister on February 24, 2011, 04:22:00 PM
Sasquatch lives in my yard that is. Just received my new Sasquatch from Kirk Lavender at Big Foot Bows this last week. First thing I noticed when I opened the crate was WOW this Zebrawood is absolutely gorgeous. Then I ran out to the yard to put a few arras through it, WOW again. It's marked 55#@28 but it felt more like 50# so I checked it on my bow scale Yep 55@28, way smooth. Fit and finish is top notch for sure and the grip fits me perfect. I can highly recommend a Sasquatch for the discriminating Neanderthal   :bigsmyl:
I would like to say thank you Kirk for the great bow.
Bob

That's some of prettiest grain I've seen in a bow, and it was cut perfectly for the bow. You can tell Kirk knows his wood. Very, Very Nice! I like the design too. She looks like a serious shooter. Very impressive bow. I'd love a longbow with wood like that. Congrats!

If it shoots half as good as it looks there won't be a living thing within your effective range.  Beautiful bow!

I see you started getting it used to it`s new life, by immediately flopping it in the snow!!!

I missed this thread completely Bob.   :o

I'm glad you like it Bro.... I don't know what it is about these bows i send out in the winter time.
These guys always seem to throw em in the snow, or stuff em in snow banks for some reason.   :goldtooth:

I told Bob i was going to hit 52.5 pounds on this bow, and he gave me a 50-55 pound range. I honestly thought I'd missed the poundage on it too. This is 66" model, and until i put it on the scale i guessed it lighter weight too. it really did feel 5 pounds lighter.....

That isn't something a bowyer complains about though....   ;)
