I have a Shawnee and was wondering what you guys have your knock set at? I know it will vary from shooter to shooter but just wondering.
1/2" on my Shawnee with Dakota limbs
I know what problem your having and your right, "it doesn't matter." Try two nocking points, one up one down.

Thanks, anyone else?
5/8" for my Shawnee Dakota
Just a hair above 1/2" on my Shawnee
5/8" for my Shawnee Dakota, shooting 3 under. I assume if I were shooting split fingers, I would nock a little lower. I set my nock points by shooting bare shafts and adjusting the nock point until I get level to slightly nock-high arrow flight.
What McDave said.
5/8 on mine 49@60" 30" arrow with 300gr up front
total weight 620, if arrow is shorter/lighter this will change - bareshaft
5/8" for me as well on my Shawnee Dakota.
I've been shooting Bob's bows for a lot of years, and I always start at 3/4" and move down if I can. Most of mine are from 5/8" to 3/4", or somewhere in between. Looks a bit funny having your arrow hiked up that much in back, but they have always shot really good for me. I shoot split finger. Is your brace ht. right around 7"? I think Bob told me once that the Shawnee with recurve limbs shot good around 7 1/2". :archer:
