Tried the search function and could'nt find anything, then e-mailed Big Jim but have'nt heard back. Can someone tell me the reccomended bh for a 62" Buffalo Bow? Thanks.
He will get back to ya, just sit tight. He's swamped right at the moment and usually answers emails at night. I got a response the very next morning. Wish I could help with the brace height, but I'm still dreaming about my first Big Jim's Thunderchild myself.
Surely somebody on Trad Gang has a Buffalo that could help ya out?
Good Luck!
Rick, I talked to Jim last week about the same thing.I have a 64" Buffalo Bow..I was told that 7 1/2" would be a good starting point..Mine likes 7 5/8" pretty well...Mike
I'd imagine he's busy. Seems to be getting a LOT of buzz on the forums, I'm sure that's getting him a lot of business.
Gotta love word of mouth advertising...means you got something special going on.
I shoot the 62" 1 piece at 7 and 1/8th to 7 and 3/8th inches.I mostly had it at 7 and 1/4 with heavier 575 to 600 grain arrows.
Thanks guys.
Rick- I'm sorry that I haven't replied, but I even looked back in my erased emails and couldn't find your email.
The info posted here is correct. usually between 7.25" and 7.75"
good luck, bigjim
Thanks BigJim, got this bow in a trade and really like it. Hopin' you'll be at Comptons in June, thinkin about a take down with the same woods.
