Title: Essential Encounters

Just wondering if anyone that ordered a coppy of Essential Encounters by Brothers of the Bow from the K-Zoo expo have recieved their coppy yet? Thanx,...Lloyd

Nope, and none of the pre-orders have gone out either. They had some trouble with the "replication" that was of a quality that Gene, Barry and the Mitten brothers wouldn't stand for. There has been a post ongoing and Mike Mitten has kept us up-to-date while Gene and Barry are in Texas....chasin' hogs.

It will be well worth the wait when we get them.

The last post I saw from Mike said they should receive them from the replicator around Feb. 24.  I would guess it will take them several days to get them packaged and shipped.  I won't begin the stake out at the mailbox for a few more days.

The order has been shipped. We Should receive them in Iowa late Monday or Tuesday barring any weather issues. So this week should be the week "WE" all get them. Thank you so much... sorry about everyones nerves. Ha!    Mike

As Mr.23 stated we watched the Essential Encounter DVD last night and to all IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT and there was never any doubt in my mind that it would be. Well Done to "The Brothers of the Bow". Thank you for your investment of time & resources along with the desire to share it with all of us through film & spoken word. This DVD captures it all with several dynamics going on and not a single thing could have been seen as "unimportant". Every person, scene, clip, image, and contribution made this DVD what it is, including the Bonus DVD...

Again, Well Done & Thank you

My wife is out of town so the kids and I had "movie night" last night.  My 12 yo son and 10 yo daughter were mesmerized for two solid hours!

It is amazing to me how they blend all those fantasic animals, both trophy and unique, along with the spectacular scenery and music to tell the story of the hunt that matches our (the true hunter watching) heartfelt love of the outdoors.  Watching it for the second time, I noticed the deer were walking or running with the beat of the music and sometimes the small game animals or deer in the background of the featured animal were showing the "emotion" we as humans would portray.  My kids could not get enough of the bears fishing and "rocking out" to the music.

And EVERY word from the narrator said EXACTLY how I feel about bowhunting.

I am so proud of the "Brothers of the Bow".  Gene, Barry, Mike, David, and even Mark     :p  , thank you for giving us something that we can confidently hand to anyone in the world and say, "this is why I bowhunt, this is what bowhunting IS!"
