Man I love this site. A simple question and bam we are looking at some of the greatest craftsmanship available right at our computer desk.

Zmonster tell me about the vastly different length ACS risers, I am guessing a 16 inch and a 12 inch.
My ACS bow is a switch riser bow with a 16 inch ST left hander made with zebrawood and a 14 inch ST right hander made with grey dymondwood. I notice you prefer the RC style.

A.S. I thought my lh bow made by Jon Gharing was the ulimate in lefties, guess I was wrong. Who made that stunning bow for you?

Predator man, that finger groove overlay is to die for. Did you shoot the gemsbok? My friends have now made two trips to Africa, albeit with compounds.

No, never hunted Africa, and have no desire any more.  There is lots of game here in North America that I still have to hunt.

Tree Killer, beautiful bow. Bolivian rosewood and myrtle were the wood choices for my new Blacktail as well. I'm thinking that drooling over pics of your bow just might help get me through the long wait.    :D

JL, that myrtle & cocobolo combo is sweet as well.

Rooselk...that's actually my son's bow I gave him last spring for his high school graduation. I love the contrasting woods though! The limbs are myrtle with Bolivian Rosewood on the tips.

Vic, I believe that one is zircote with myrtle limbs. The same combo as the one I posted pics of.

I look forward to seeing your new Big Jim bow!

joe vt,
Cause of that RER of your's I got a Hoots coming next week that looks much like that RER...Ziricote Riser,Olive Ash Burle limbs,Moose overlays and limb tips and a Moose drop antler on the handle with some stippling surrounding it...I will take some pics when I get it and try and post it here...I liked yours so much I asked Lee to look at yours a few months back when I asked you to post it and he did a great job matching up with your combo but I had asked Lee to ad some moose so it wasn't an exact copy...Turned out really great....He asked if he could take it to a stream or creek that had some rapids this weekend to take a few pics of it and then he will ship it to me...I'm getting very excited since it's done and curing...Keefer's <><

Those are nice looking TallTines AS and LowBow!

All the Myrtle handles I have hefted are very light.  Zircote , much heavier.

I went with a brownish bol. rosewood footed with myrtlewood. The myrtle in this bow is quilted and has good colors.

Incredible bow. My aunt and uncle used to live in Waldport and ran a gift shop. There is quite a bit of myrtlewood around my house.
