Does any one use these for bows in the 60 to 66# range.

I use them for my 57#@28" Tall Tines.  Mine are cut 30.5" long with 100 grain insert and 125 grain point.  They fly great for me out of this bow.

I use 'em out of some of my 55# and up bows.  I put a 200 grn. head up front and they fly fine.  I use them for my huntin' arrows and let my ADs sit at home.  I really like the Gold Tips.

I shoot them, full length, out of a 68# widow longbow.  They fly great.  Got 225 up front between brass insert and broahead.

After doing the Stu Miller calculator, I am going assemble today some GT7595's at 30"BOP with 100ginsert +125 point and external footing for my 59@28 Predator, which I draw to 28 3/4. The program shows this to be about perfect; looking forward to trying it out.

I use them in my mid to high 60# bows.  100 gr. insert with 200gr. pts.  They fly like bullets.

I would figure they are pretty stiff. I use them with my trainning wheels and it is #70@28.5.

Yep!  52# recurve with 220gr up front...fly great!  When he has them, I get the blems from Big Jim...can't beat the price!

I shoot them at 31" out of my 80- 85 lb bows. I put 400g up front. They will bare shaft to 30 + yards. Farther probably if I could hit a bag that far.

I would also think they are way too stiff. But might work with that 66#'er..

I've tried them full length, with almost 400gr. up front out of my 63# kwyk Styk and they were still too stiff. And my bow is cut way past center.

Big Jim's set-up is what sounds just right to me for such a stiff arrow...

But hey, everyone is different    :dunno:

I think you should listen to your Dad and leave that Schafer on the wall for a little while longer.   :bigsmyl:

I use the 75/95 shafts as well.  I shoot a 70# recurve with a 31" draw.  The 55/75 shoot pretty good, but just a little better arrow flight with the 75/95's.  Probably because of the longer draw.

I have also shot the 75/95 wood grain Gold Tip shafts.  They don't fly as good as the black plain shafts.  Maybe it is just me, but I went back to the standard black shafts.
I don't know if that wood grain coating changes the spine or not, but understand they weigh a little more per inch.

HAve some on the way for my 56# @28 BW MAII. Everything has been too limber so far. My 35/55s have 150 grains of GT weight and I shoot a 160 gr Snuffer. Never have been satisfied with their flight. Hope these will help. Going to 175 gr VPA Terminator.
