We had an exceptionally warm day today so, I took a break from the Hill bows and shot my Maddog named "Stinger". Bow is 60", 50# @ 28". I draw 29". 2nd group, 15yds. 2016's cut 29.5 bop with 145gr tip. A real flat shooter and very quiet.
If you haven't tried one of Mikes bows, you don't know what you are missing. For an economical working mans bow, these bows shoot as good as any custom I've shot.

Very nice
Mike does make some impressive shooting bows.
Thanks for sharing.
God bless,Mudd
Thumbs up! Nice shooting and bow.
Which style is that Wannabe1?
That's Mikes new 60" recurve. I had it made with Bumblebee Diamond wood. Hence the name "Stinger". What I like the most about it, is its narrowness of limb and riser. Makes for a very stable and fast bow in my opinion. At 60" it is a great stand/blind bow.
Oh ya, it is also the very first one and marked as such.
Great looking bow!!
That's a nice looking bow TW. I really like the colors! Mike builds a wonderful bow! My kids have owned 4 so far and they're still going!
TW, good shooting. Like the looks of your "stinger".
Sweet!!!! Great color combo!!!
I saw that on the other thread, and wanted to see another pic. Thanks! Makes me want to see more Maddog bows!
Killdeer
That 60 in. Maddog recurve is at the top of my to buy list. They look awesome and can't beat the price.

i like the looks of his bows. i almost orderd one but couldnt find the one i wanted.
talked to a guy who bought one of his long bows and loves it. sharp lookingas well
Sweet. Mine is on order, can't wait!!
Quit posting pics!!! I like it more with every pic!!!
I'm glad you got 001, now when I order mine I can drag it through the brush and not feel bad about it getting some field wear!
That really is a very sharp recurve!
That is one good looking bow!
I have an order in with Maddog Archery, looking for it around April. Can't wait and I hope it looks as good as your bow!
I am still waiting on mine, but I shot a buddies the other day and WOW! His craftmanship is second to none as you can tell and man was it quiet and fast. The bow was 51# @26, and was flinging a 520 grain arrow like a missle. It was undoubtablly the fastest and quietest bow I have ever shot or seen. He does make a smoking bow.
AWPForester, was that a longbow, recurve, or mutt you were shooting?
Thom, it doesn't matter if it's 001 or 100, I'm still gonna drag it through the woods! :D Especially if I elk hunt here on the west coast as brush in the coastal range is to thick for my longbows.
Verrry nice!
The two of you will be making some beautiful music together come fall.
I've been up in the Oregon coastals a few times and it's mighty fine elk country (albeit sometimes a little too thick for my liking.) I've got little doubt the bow will show some well earned wear if you take it out into that kind of brush!
I hope you get some nice rosie tenderloins for your effort!
All the best,
Thom
