We have a number of his longbows.  The grain matching detail in the veneers lams is perfection, the overall workmanship and performance of ours is the best there is.

I have 7 of them and they are been my to go bows for 15 years. They are easy to tune, fast, forgiving, accurate and quiet.Dick is been the guy that reidroduced the reflex deflex LB and one of the pioneers in using the bamboo as limb core. You can't go wrong with his bows.
But I can't tell you you can't go wrong with any named bowyer in these days. The overall knowledge and quality is incredible,we are living in the Golden Age of the custom bowmaking

I have never been disapointed with any I have shot or still own. They are great shooters.

I agree. I have a Vision Falcon recurve and a Purist long bow and both shoot great and hit where you point them. My Vision Falcon has the best grip out there. I would buy another one.

I have a TD Purist Longbow.  Craftmanship is excellent.  Great shooting bow.

I also have the TD Purist Longbow, and other than the fact that the connexion hinge for the TD makes the grip a little larger than I like, it still one of the best shooters I own.

I have two recurves, a take down and a one piece.  Both very good shooters, I think his recurve grip is one of the very best ever. Your hand just slides in the same place everytime.  Definitely one of my top favorites.  RW

I have owned a takedown longbow for several years. Very good looking and shooting bow. No hesitation to recommend Dick as a bowyer!

Does the Fatal Styk have the same grip as the Vision? I held a Vision and the grip was very nice.

I had more than 10 Robertson and i can tell you no one has the exctly same grip, but all of them can fit you very well.Take care that you have a choice of different size throat too.Send Dick a bow hand track. My fatal Styk grip is one of the best I have.

Come on Doug you gotta quit looking and buy something. I thought you said you would make up your mind over the weekend, just giving you the gears man and besides it won't matter how it looks the first time I take you on another "short" walk moose hunting those jack pine swamps won't care how pretty it is!
