Very classy! That looks like a keeper Danny!
-
The Blacktails are a work of art. I hope to obtain one in time... Thanks for the post.

Yep, Duane, this one ain't goin' nowhere. I ordered it over a year ago and just got it today, well worth the wait. Fits my hand beautifully. Norm outdid himself on this one. I have got to get a better camera, the pictures do not do this bow justice it is incredable.

Danny send it to me my camera works great. As always great stuff for a great guy.<><
-
Danny, Is that a checkered grip? I love the ebony. Greg
-
How about a pic of that beautiful thing with your incredible new Border? On second thought, I'm not sure my heart could stand that much excitement. Beautiful bows, Danny!
-
Greg, yes, checkered grip.
Woody,Do not want to give you a heart attack,LOL.
I was suprised at houw much the grips are alike on the two bows. The Border is a stock bow and I sent Norm a trace of my hand when I ordered the bow, and it fits like a glove as does the Border.
I know two new bows in a week, now I have a hard choice on which to shoot each day,LOL. Plus the Schafer and my Jack Harrison Black Wolf. Choices, choices,LOL.

Yeah, that grip looks very inviting and positive. Almost makes me jealous.....
-

Here ya go Woody, now no heart attacks please,LOL

-
whooowheee! Now that there is purty.
Fine choice in woods.
-
OH LORD IT'S THE BIG ONE!!!! :biglaugh:
We need an icon of a smiling dead guy. GGG Man, what a pair of lookers!!!
Danny, I found my Border's grip to be blockier and larger than my Blacktail's. Not sure which I prefer. Seems to be pretty easy to go back and forth, though. Glad we don't have to choose!
-
Norm just keeps getting better and better. those are some mighty fancy bow. looks like i will need to give him a call and put one on order. shuuhhh, need to make sure the better half don't hear about this.
-
Yeah, Woody, the Border's grip is a bit bigger, but both just slide right into the sweet spot of my hand, Like you it is easy to switch between the two. The Border is probably a little higher grip also. I know, thank you all for the comments, I am a lucky fella.

Ditto Vermonster's description!

Whooaa!!

Danny,
Those are really great looking bows. I also know personally they are both great shooters as I have the same combination. Like you mine fit like a glove and I am able to switch from one to the other with no problem. The Border grips are a little thicker than the Blacktails but are no trouble to go from one to the other. The Blacktail is the best felling grip of any bow I have ever shot. Feels like it was molded for my hand. Norm and Sid are both great artisans each with his own touch. Both are surefire keepers for years to come. May they bring you many hours of enjoyment.

Now thats what I'm talking about-what a fine pair they are!!
Very lucky man indeed, Danny.
-
Sounds like piggy time. They still have pigs on Guam don't they.
-
Great bow - I always wondered what a blacktail would look like in ebony footed with cocobolo.
-
Yeah, Bob, still lots of pigs here. Taking the Border for a walk on Friday if the weather holds out. The mangoes are falling and they should be hitting the trees in the jungle behind my Sister-in-laws house. Gonna set up the Double Bull an see what comes in.

Danny, pretty shiney you'll have to take some steele wool to it.LOL
-
Congrats Danny! Dang you have some sweeeetuns right there! Man are there any high end bows that you don't own?! LOL
Happy shooting!
-
Well Mark,LOL, there are a few I have not owned, but not many,LOL.
Danny
-
You still have time Danny and I have have faith in you and Don.
-
WOW !!! Those two are just too sweet!! However, God, in his infinite wisdom, knows that I would have them both looking like my kids' old Grizzly in about one season...So,well...you get my point.
I hope they bring you lots of good memories Danny.

Danny, that looks just like the one I saw in a box on the floor of Norm's office! lol
Yep, that one caught my eye as I was talking with Norm. She's a beauty! First one that I have seen with the ebony, footed w/ cocobola. It is usually the other way around. Having just received mine and falling in love with it over the past week I understand the joy you are experiencing. I have been shooting it every night. You know it just keeps getting more beautiful over time! lol What is really neat is watching how it becomes more and more natural feeling when shooting it. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
-
Another stunner!! There are some super bows out there, but for sheer good looks I don't think there is anyone that can touch Norm right now.
-
It's a given that Norm builds one of the most beautiful bows on the market. But let us not overlook the way they shoot along with that. They are definitely the complete package.
