Title: Quick help! Please!
Post by: SuperSlamChaser on February 17, 2011, 10:59:00 AM
I was wondering if there's a trick to get adhesive off of my bow without messing up the finish? Thanks in advance!

Goo Gone has worked for me in the past too.

I'm also going to try Goo Gone. I use denatured, 91% isopropyl alchol for "drying arrows" but don't have much luck removing adhesive with it.

If Goo Gone doesn't work, try Goof Off.  It's a similar product that is a little stronger.

I used dilute acetone (nail polish remover) to remove camo tape and residue that was on this recurve for many years.  It looked horrible.  But about 20 minutes of rubbing it with a saturated cloth and it looks like new.
